Destiny Xur Inventory for March 25th And Iron Banner Return Information

Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny with some new Exotics. You can find him in the hangar where he’ll remain until 2 AM PST, March 27th. The gear this week includes Empyrean Bellicose (Titan helm), Crest of Alpha Lupi (Hunter chest) and Alchemist’s Raiment (Warlock chest), each available for 13 Strange Coins. Believe it or not but Crest of Alpha Lupi is easily the winner here because of its quick revival abilities. It’s perfect for Hunters playing Salvage or Trials of Osiris.

The Exotic weapon for this week is Invective, a shotgun which regenerates its ammo over time and fires at a fast rate. It costs 17 Strange Coins.

Other items include a Legacy Engram for 31 Strange Coins which gives you a primary Exotic from Year One that you don’t already own; Three of Coins for increasing the chances of your Ultra kill netting an Exotic (5 for 7 Strange Coins); and Glass Needles which allow you to re-roll Exotic armour for 3 Strange Coins.

Destiny Iron Banner Control Returns on March 29th, 10 AM PST

Before Destiny‘s April Update drops and brings some higher Light level gear to the game, Bungie wants you to embrace that Iron Banner grind one more time. Lord Saladin will be returning with the game’s level advantage-enabled PvP mode on March 29th, 10 AM PST and the default mode will be Control.

This time around, Iron Banner will offer the chest piece and gauntlets as gear while the hand cannon Finnala’s Peril and heavy machine gun Bretomart’s Stand. At rank 3, you’ll be able to purchase the chest piece from Lord Saladin; rank 4 offers the hand cannon, gauntlets and PlayStation-exclusive gauntlets for purchase while rank 5 allows you to buy the heavy machine gun. The same items will drop at their respective ranks as post-game rewards but it’s worth noting that they’ll have random perks.
