‘We take so many cues from the players, so when people say, “are you gonna do more of that?” My answer is, you haven’t even experienced that yet, why don’t you go in, see how it plays out, and we’ll figure out what the future is when we understand fully the opportunities of the present. I would say that about private matches, about client support, about artifacts and ornaments… if people love that stuff, we’ll make more of it. If it falls on deaf ears, or people fail to seize the opportunity, then we’ll develop in other directions. When you look at Rise of Iron, there are so many things that we are doing in this expansion that are a result of direct feedback from the player.
It definitely looks like that is actually the case this time around, and not just lip service. Destiny: Rise of Iron will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this September.
