Dishonored 2 Gamescom Trailer Showcases Emily’s Brutality

Arkane Studios’ Dishonored 2 received a new gameplay video at Gamescom 2016, putting a short but significant highlight on Emily’s Kaldwin’s abilities and killing potential in the sequel. Check it out below.

Like Corvo, Emily can accept the Mark of the Outsider and draw upon dark powers to destroy her enemies. Such powers include transforming into a shadowy beast and ripping foes limb from limb or chaining the fate of multiple targets together and executing one to execute them all. Of course, you can also reject the Outsider’s Mark and simply rely on your assassination skills – of which Emily has many – to survive.

If you’re in the mood to relive the nostalgia of the first game, don’t worry. Corvo can also be selected as a playable character but you’ll be unable to switch out once the choice has been made.
