Gearbox Software’s Battleborn received details regarding its PC system requirements but there was more to cover regarding its gameplay. As is the trend these days, Battleborn will have challenging content for single-player mode which offers better rewards.
Referred to as Hardcore mode, there will apparently be “unforgiving challenges” which can net you “extra loot” and “all new unlockable content.” What those challenges are has yet to be confirmed.
There will also be options for colour-blind players, allowing them to choose their team colour and the opposing team’s colour. “This colorization is applied to enemy color, health bars, competitive objectives, etc., and is available on all platforms.” This will allow you to easily distinguish between items and enemies.
Finally, co-op will support two players on the same system and split-screen players can hop on to other teams if they so wish with the maximum number being five overall per side. Battleborn is out this May but it’s open beta begins this April so stay tuned for more details.
