Battlefield 4 China Rising Now Free To Download on Xbox One

If you own a copy of Battlefield 4 on the Xbox One, you’ll be happy to know that its China Rising expansion is now free to download. As a part of the Road to Battlefield celebrations that DICE are holding to drum up some free publicity and hype for the upcoming Battlefield 1, the premier expansion pack for 2013’s hit shooter will now be available to download for free.

As of right now, it’s only available to Xbox One owners on Xbox Live- EA and DICE usually make the expansions free to Xbox users, before sharing the love with PC and PlayStation 4 fans too. Hopefully by the end of this week, PS4 and PC players should be able to download the DLC for free, too.

Battlefield 4 launched in October 2013 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Battlefield 1 will be launching this October for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
