While Halo Wars 2 is still a ways off, we’ve gotten some new information on what the game is going to entail. Last month, 343’s chief had teased the public with the announcement that the game would have a “completely new way to play.”
Blitz on the other hand is more of a “hybrid card-collecting” that has aspects of real-time strategy mixed in. Cards are earned by playing the campaign and daily challenges and they are used in decks of 12 by the designated “leaders” in the game. You can check out more about this mode in the video below. Halo Wars 2 is launching on the Xbox One and PC on February 21, 2017.
