Unexpectedly, Red Barrels has announced that a demo for Outlast 2 is now available for PS4 and PC users to try out. The Xbox One version isn’t available yet but a representative for the developer told GameSpot that it will be available soon.
The free demo is a 7.4 GB download on Steam and will be available up till November 1st. Though you can still play it after that date, it’s likely that the demo won’t be downloadable.
Outlast 2 is out in early 2017 for current gen platforms though it was originally slated to release by Fall 2016. Are you playing the demo? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
