Resident Evil 7’s New Teaser Has A Mysterious, Creepy Voice

After a few instalments where the series increasingly moved away from the survival horror that defined it in the first place, and towards a more diluted action game focus, Resident Evil 7 looks to be a return to form and to the series’ roots. And nothing exemplifies this as well as the brand new teaser trailer for the game that Capcom just released.

The teaser is titled ‘Mysterious Voice,’ and, true to its name, shows Ethan picking up a phone and hearing a mysterious, creepy voice on the other end. What the voice is is unknown- but I think we can be reasonably confident that we’ll learn more about it in the game itself.
