The seamless multiplayer functionality has been one of the big selling points for Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2 – but it doesn’t look like players will be able to go hands on with it right away. A day before the game’s launch, Ubisoft have disabled the functionality for the game, pushing it instead to the release of the next patch (not the day one patch).
Watch Dogs 2 is, in any case, a great enough game that you might want to get it, even if the delay of the seamless multiplayer bums you out- the patch adding it back in is already in certification at Microsoft and Sony, so it’s just a matter of a few days, anyway.
