The closed beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands begins tomorrow with pre-loading starting today. Though a number of players haven’t received beta invites (with Ubisoft announcing that they’re being sent “in waves”), we now know the content that can be experienced.
Much of the map has been locked off with the Itacua region being available. This includes all the different story missions and activities in it and you can play these alone with AI teammates or invite up to three friends to join you. The character creator and Gunsmith, which allows you to customize your weapons with different scopes and barrels, are also included.
Even though one region doesn’t sound like much, the size of Bolivia in Ghost Recon: Wildlands is pretty big. There’s thus plenty to look forward to for beta players.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is out on March 7th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the upcoming closed beta? Let us know in the comments.
