It looks like someone has managed to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch ahead of its launch, and tear it down. As a result, we now have information on the internals of the system, revealing a modified custom Tegra X1 variant being used in the system, a gigantic battery, and the system’s entire SoC.
It also seems like the Switch will have active cooling, and a 64-bit memory bus. The long and short of all of this is, the Switch, as a portable system, seems to be rather well endowed, and indeed, killer- as a home console, however, as has been previously discussed, it is definitely going to be found lacking.
The Nintendo Switch is due out worldwide on March 3. Are you planning on picking one up at launch? Maybe later? Let us know in the comments section below, and stay tuned for more information regarding the upcoming system.
