Destiny is a game that is heavy on lore, with many aspects that are supposedly highly important to the background story but not really playing a part in the main narrative- at least in the first game. Two of those lore heavy subjects are Osiris – the reclusive warlock – and Rasputin – the Warmind AI – and it now looks like they might both the focal points of Destiny 2’s DLC packs.
If you were to head over to Destiny 2 special edition’s page on Xbox.com, and check info for the game’s Expansion Pass, you’ll see two symbols that hint at the inclusion of Osiris and Rasputin in the story, those symbols being the black eye and the black winged diamond respectively.
Osiris himself was supposed to play a major part in the original Destiny’s story but ultimately didn’t make the cut, and there’s a lot of interesting lore surrounding Rasputin as well, so it’s good to see them being included - if this does turn out to be true. Keep in mind, this remains unconfirmed.
