Update 4.55 is now out for the PS4. And while you shouldn’t have expected anything major after the feature rich update 4.50 was just released, it still deserves to be highlighted- this is one of those famous ‘stability’ updates. Yes, that’s right, update 4.55 adds nothing to the PS4 but more ‘stability.’ Which is, I guess, one fix to the wobbling problem that launch PS4 systems had?
Users are reporting better Wifi connectivity, as well as fixes with some crashing on the PS4 Pro, though for now this remains unsubstantiated. The update itself comes in at 324 MB, so it won’t break the bank as far as hard drive space goes (and if it does, you really should considering upgrading the hard drive you have on your PS4, or use an external).
