Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 2 will be receiving a demo on July 15th, which is a week before the full game launches. However, there’s a catch – it’s time limited. As for the company, the demo will start at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET on July 15th and lasts for four hours. UK players will start at 5 PM BST and also get four hours to play the game. The demo will be a separate file from the global testfire held in march and can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop today.
It was also confirmed that Splatoon 2 would see Splatfests returning with the World Premiere forcing you to choose to fight for either ice cream or cake. These are truly the serious questions we must ask ourselves. Players can also look forward to some two years of Splatfests and a year of content updates including new gear, weapons and stages.
Splatoon 2 releases on July 21st for Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more information on the game in the coming weeks.
