When the Xbox One S finally goes on sale starting August 2, it will only be the 2TB variant of the system that costs $399- the cheaper 1TB and 500GB SKUs of the console will not be made available until a bit later. How much later? Well, not much, as it turns out.
The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the original Xbox One console, and comes with UHD, 4K, and HDR support for video playback, as well as an improved controller with better wireless connectivity. A more powerful variant of the Xbox One, the Scorpio, is due to launch by Holiday of 2017.
